Leadership
Achieving
The Edge
The success enjoyed by Vision
Training Camps over the last 23 years is directly attributable to
the coaching philosophy of the two dedicated founders and directors.
TJ Kostecky and Len Bilous are committed to the development of youth
soccer in the United States.
Director TJ Kostecky is the Men’s Soccer Coach at Division “1” Long Island
University in Brooklyn (N.Y.). This season he led the Blackbirds to the Northeast
Conference Playoffs with a record of 9-6-4. In his previous position at Division “1”
Appalachian State University, TJ turned around a program that had four consecutive
losing seasons by compiling a winning record of 13-8. For his efforts, he was named
1998 Southern Conference Coach of the Year. His overall collegiate record at four
universities is now 163-113-30. A USSF “A” nationally licensed coach with more than
25 years of experience, he has served as both New Jersey and North Carolina Boys
Olympic Development Team Coach. TJ Kostecky holds a Bachelors degree in Health
and Physical Education and a Masters degree in Education from East Stroudsburg University.
Director
Len Bilous. His 33 years of coaching include youth, high school, college,
professional and international experience. While coaching the Pittsburgh Spirit (MSL-
1980) Len was honored as “Coach of the Year”. Len Bilous holds the U.S. Soccer “A”
and “Staff Coaching” licenses and is currently on staff with the EPYSA Olympic
Development Program as an instructor of the state coaching programs. During the
last decade, Len has developed new and advanced training methods for improving
individual tactics and field vision for which the Vision TrainingSM trademark
was awarded.
Goalkeeper
Director Marijn Mokveld has served as staff coach for Ajax F.C. Developmental Team in Holland. He currently
plays outdoors for F.C. Lisse of the Dutch 3rd Division. Indoors, he plays for F.C. BAX of the Dutch 1st
